By placing an order and confirming payment on the website of Best Friends Pet you are entering into a legally binding contract in accordance with the following terms and conditions of sale.


The price of the products and services will be the price listed on our website on the date of your order, not including B.C. Provincial taxes. All prices on our website are in Canadian dollars and must be paid in full, including delivery charges. All prices are subject to change without notice.

Best Friends Pet will continually try to ensure that prices on the website are current and accurate; we are not responsible for errors that may occur. If we discover any errors in the price of products and services before we accept your order, we will notify you as soon as possible and give you the option to resubmit your order at the correct price or cancel the order. The price of all goods and services does not include B.C. Provincial taxes.

On selected items, in store pricing may vary from online prices. Where this is the case we do not price match website prices to in store offers.

Stock and Availability

Products and services are subject to availability. If for any reason an item is out of stock, then we will only ship the available products. We do not operate a back order system; therefore the balance of your order will automatically be cancelled. We will not supply substitute products without contacting you first.

All products, goods, services or information displayed on this website should not be regarded as an offer, invitation, solicitation, advice or recommendation to buy a product or service on the website.

Placing an Order

We will treat each order, which is confirmed when you click the “Place Order” button on the Checkout screen, as an offer by you to purchase the goods and services subject to these terms and conditions. We shall supply you, subject to availability, with the quantity and specification of products set out in your order. Any email or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order placed by you does not constitute legal acceptance by Best Friends Pet of your order. Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and Best Friends Pet will take place on dispatch to you of the products ordered, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.

Payment may be made by any of the methods indicated on the website. Goods will not be shipped unless payment is received in full. All payments will be processed in Canadian dollars.

All information that is sensitive credit information is encrypted with 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to secure and safeguard your information.


We will ship direct to the address you specified at the time of ordering. We use Canada Post for all our shipping. We will make every effort to ship within the times specified, but delivery times quoted are approximate only and we cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience arising from failure to provide the advertised service because of factors which could reasonably be considered to be outside our control. We strongly advise that if the goods are required for a specific date they are ordered in advance to avoid any disappointment. We are not responsible for damages incurred in the shipping process.

At this time we only ship within Canada.

Cancellation of Orders

You have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund. Cancellations may only be made prior to shipment of the goods. All sale items are final sale and non-refundable.

If the goods have already been shipped the cost of delivery shall be charged to you.

Cancelling an Order after Shipment

You may cancel your order within 14 days of delivery by emailing or phoning (1)-604-740-4353 (930am – 530pm Mon-Fri). If phoning to cancel an order you must also confirm cancellation of the order in writing via email, fax or letter.


In store refunds will be accepted within fourteen (14) days and require a receipt. Refunds for online purchases will be accepted within fourteen (14) days and do not require a receipt.

Please do not send anything back for refund without first contacting us by either method outlined below.

  • All merchandise being returned for refund must be unused, in the original packaging, and in sellable condition.
  • All refunds, within fourteen days, will be provided in the same tender as when the item was purchased.
  • The cost of shipping of returned items will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser with the exception of defective items.
  • Refunds will be processed upon receiving the returned merchandise to our store. We will notify you upon receipt to finalize the process.
  • All goods being returned should be shipped back to Best Friends Pet via the same method they were originally shipped.
  • Packaging – please ensure that the goods are packaged to prevent damage in transit.
  • Returns may be limited or declined, at our discretion. Other restrictions may apply.

Refunds on Sale Items
All sale items are final sale and non-refundable.

Returns on Faulty Merchandise
If the goods are faulty we will provide a full refund, including the cost of shipping, as appropriate. All faulty items are to be returned to Best Friends Pet Market.

The following types of products will not be accepted for refund:

  • perishable goods (treats/food)
  • hygiene products
  • any damage incurred from normal use (wear and tear) or from pet damage
